Gender Equality Policy
IHI Charging Systems International S.p.A. (ITY) has signed this policy with the aim of promoting and protecting diversity and equal opportunities in the workplace.
The implementation of the principles of this policy is set out in an action plan, drawn up with the aim of ensuring the maintenance and monitoring of specific objectives and KPIs related to gender equality over time.
The principles that the company intends to pursue to ensure gender equality are:
- Combating stereotypes, prejudices and non-inclusive language.Commitment to combating all forms of discrimination, violence and harassment.
- Fair gender representation at events, conferences and, in general, among speakers participating in panels or training courses.
- Creation of an open culture that is attentive to listening to its employees in order to identify, investigate and manage any forms of non-inclusiveness.
- Guarantee fair and equal participation in training and development programmes, with the inclusion of both genders.
- Ensure internal mobility and succession to managerial and executive positions consistent with the principles of an inclusive organisation.
- Ensuring fair and inclusive selection, induction and onboarding processes, based on objective criteria of competence and free from any form of discrimination.
- Protecting the workplace and guaranteeing the same level of remuneration upon return from maternity leave.
- Promoting the parenting experience as an opportunity for personal enrichment within the organisation.
Management is committed to identifying ways and means to achieve the company's goals and to publicising the policy by disseminating it to its staff and making it available to all interested parties.
